I NEVER IMAGINED THAT asking one simple question would lead to SINGING MY FIRST PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY CLIENT.
It started when I reached out to a local non-alcoholic bitters company on Instagram, ALL THE BITTER, about where I could purchase their product locally. I explained that I was local and was interested in purchasing their product for a photoshoot I was working on. After chatting for little while, they shared that they were in the process of creating three experimental flavors and asked if I would be interested in taking the studio pictures for them.
Lets just say...
MIND BLOWN
IS THIS REAL LIFE?
Am I really being offered an opportunity to showcase my skills as a product photographer and build my portfolio right now? There was no doubt in my mind, that taking this opportunity was a HELL YES (on so many levels) moment for me. We signed a contract and I got to work in the studio curating the photos they'd use on their website to launch these three flavors on Black Friday.
I received this email in response to sending the final gallery of images :
"These are fantastic! Thank you so much, Courtney! I can't wait to get these up on the site! We really appreciate your help and look forward to working with you again in the future!"

I'll tell you, these words felt like A HUGE GREEN LIGHT from the universe to continue building Bright Side Photography Co. and offering my magic to the world through my photography.
